Old Fuzhou~

Today we went to 7 Alley, 3 Lanes...this is Old Fuzhou.  The Alleys were for the poor people to shop and the Lanes were for the rich.  The main street had many shops and restaurants up and down.  It was so busy today, as today is the first day of the Labor Day holiday here in China.  The Chinese will be off enjoying this holiday for 3 days.  There were so many people out today!  The highlights of the street, for me, were the Chinese medicine shop and Starbucks...YES, Starbucks! Amen.

This is the front of the medicine shop.  There were so many herbs inside to treat all sorts of ailments.  There were several rooms to the back when you could see a doctor, they would write a prescription and the employees would measure out the herbs for you to take each day ( bottom picture ).

My coffee tasted just like it does at home~DELISH!

After Old Fuzhou, we headed back to the park.  Thank goodness this is close by.  Sophie does not like being in the hotel, so we usually go here to let her see others, feel the fresh air, and run around.  Today was her first taste of M&M's!  She loved them and even cried when I took ONE from the bag ;) This girl....hahaha!
